The bed which dreams were made for.. this bed is a modern 4 poster made from solid Canadian timber. All post's are morticed and tenoned so it can be easily delivered and installed in your home. As all of our beds made in our workshops we endeaveour to make these using old techniques to the highest of standards. Features include:-

How is the bed constructed?
The H&F Plank beds are made using traditional techniques including mortis and tenon joints. The side rails attach with bedroc fittings this ensures they will not weaken over time.
Does the bed fit a standard UK mattress?
Every H&F Plank bed fits a standard UK mattress only the frame is larger due to the chunky solid wood.

We ordered this bed and from the start customer service was outstanding. Daniela was polite and very professional. Since we do not live in mainland England shipping was never going to be straightforward but nothing was too much trouble. Great communication throughout. When the bed arrived unfortunately the side rails were not the ones ordered; but within minutes of informing the company the issue was already being resolved. They arranged to ship the drawers to us and they arrived in about a week.
Now the bed is fully assembled I have to say it is fantastic. It is so comfortable and the finish is superb. I have to stop myself sneaking off for mid afternoon naps it is so good. The fitted drawers are well worth the extra, lots of storage and look great.
Overall great service and a stunning bed!
