Constructed in the old traditional ways, all posts are morticed and tenoned so we can break down on delivery and assemble in your bedroom. All timber is Forestry Commissioned which increases the value of woodlands to society and the environment.. this bed really is chunky and shows off the solid Canadian timber brilliantly.

How is the bed constructed?

The H&F Plank Chunky 4 Poster bed is made using traditional techniques including mortis and tenon joints. The side rails attach with bedroc fittings this ensures they will not weaken over time.

Does the bed fit a standard UK mattress?

Every H&F Plank bed fits a standard UK mattress only the frame is larger due to the chunky solid wood.

How do the underbed storage attached?

Our underbed storage are made as a solid unit which goes in place of your side rail. They are universal so can be placed either side or both.
